On the 20th, the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education held a ceremony at the Jeonju Student Education and Culture Center to present appointment certificates to new teachers for the school year starting on March 1, 2026.
A total of 262 new teachers received appointment certificates on that day, including 33 kindergarten teachers, 22 elementary school teachers, and 207 middle school teachers.
Yoo Jung-gi, the acting superintendent of education, personally handed out the appointment certificates to each new teacher, congratulating them on becoming part of the Jeonbuk education family. Acting Superintendent Yoo stated, "I sincerely congratulate the new teachers who have gone through a challenging appointment process to stand here today," and expressed his hope for their continuous growth in their journey of life and support for the start of their teaching careers.
He emphasized that teachers are advisors who discover students' potential and nurture their dreams, stating that a teacher's smile, attention, and a single word can change a student's life. He also pledged, "The Education Office will do its best to support schools so that teachers can focus on teaching and enhance their capabilities."
전북교육청, 2026학년도 신규교사 262명 임명장 수여
전북교육청은 20일 전주학생교육문화관에서 2026학년도 3월 1일자 신규교사 임명장 수여식을 개최했다.
이날 임명장을 받은 신규교사는 유치원 교사 33명, 초등교사 22명, 중등교사 207명 등 총 262명이다.
유정기 교육감 권한대행은 신규교사 한 명 한 명에게 직접 임명장을 전달하며 전북교육가족이 된 것을 축하했다. 유 권한대행은 “어려운 임용고사를 거쳐 이 자리에 선 신규 교사들을 진심으로 축하한다”며 “교직생활의 출발을 응원하며, 삶의 여정에 무궁한 발전이 있길 바란다”고 말했다.
이어 “교사는 학생의 가능성을 발견하고 꿈을 키워주는 조언자”라며 “선생님의 미소와 관심, 말 한마디가 학생의 인생을 바꿀 수 있다”고 강조했다. 또한 “교육청도 교사들이 수업에 전념하고 역량을 키워갈 수 있도록 학교 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
