Jeonju Technical College's University Job Plus Center has signed a business agreement with International Career Center Jeonju Branch to enhance youth employment support programs.
Jeonju Technical College announced that they have established a cooperative system to create youth employment opportunities and expand job placement outcomes by signing an agreement with International Career Center Jeonju Branch on the 13th, under the auspices of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's University Job Plus Center.
Under this agreement, the two institutions plan to collaborate on connecting youth employment policies such as the National Employment Support System and internship programs, recruiting participants for the National Employment Support System, jointly operating job placement programs and events, and providing business support to activate job placement programs.
The International Career Center will utilize promotion booths and counseling rooms within Jeonju Technical College campus to promote and recruit participants for the National Employment Support System, and will provide more systematic job placement support services to enrolled students, graduates, and local youth.
Jo Deok-hyun, the head of Jeonju Technical College's University Job Plus Center, expressed expectations that through this agreement, young people will have a better access to various job support policies and programs, stating, "We will actively support the enhancement of employment capabilities and stable social integration by expanding cooperation with local relevant organizations in the future."
Meanwhile, Jeonju Technical College's University Job Plus Center is also in the process of pursuing an additional agreement with STAFFS Co., the operating organization of the National Employment Support System, and plans to continuously expand the youth employment support network.

전주기전대학 대학일자리플러스센터가 청년 취업지원사업 활성화를 위해 ㈜국제커리어센터 전주지점과 업무협약을 체결했다.
전주기전대학은 고용노동부 주관 대학일자리플러스센터가 지난 13일 국제커리어센터 전주지점과 협약을 맺고, 청년 일자리 창출과 취업 연계 성과 확대를 위한 협력체계를 구축했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약에 따라 양 기관은 국민취업지원제도와 일경험 프로그램 등 청년 취업고용 정책 연계, 국민취업지원제도 참여자 발굴 및 모집, 취업지원 프로그램과 행사 공동 운영, 취업지원사업 활성화를 위한 업무 협조 등에 나설 계획이다.
국제커리어센터는 전주기전대학 캠퍼스 내 홍보부스와 상담실을 활용해 국민취업지원제도 홍보와 참여자 모집을 진행하며, 재학생과 졸업생, 지역 청년들에게 보다 체계적인 취업지원 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
조덕현 전주기전대학 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “이번 협약을 통해 청년들이 다양한 취업지원 정책과 프로그램을 보다 쉽게 접할 수 있는 기반이 마련될 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 지역 유관기관과 협력을 확대해 취업역량 강화와 안정적인 사회 진출을 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 전주기전대학 대학일자리플러스센터는 국민취업지원제도 운영기관인 스탭스㈜와의 추가 협약도 추진 중이며, 청년 취업지원 네트워크를 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
