Nanwon City will operate '2026 Nanwon City Intensive Special Lectures Season 1' from April 20 to May 27, reflecting the diverse learning demands of its citizens.
Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Nanwon City Integrated Reservation and Application System from 9 a.m. on April 1 to 5 p.m. on April 10.
This season 1 of intensive learning is divided into 'Everyday Enrichment Lifelong Education' and 'Sparkling Humanities and Reasoning Lifelong Education.' It consists of a total of 10 courses and 41 sessions, allowing citizens to participate widely according to their tastes and interests.
Key courses include practical courses such as Home Restaurant, Home Café Desserts, Flower Basket Making, First Steps in Korean Sign Language, Senior Pilates, Prenatal Pilates, as well as humanities courses like SNS Practical, Book Discussion, Indian Mythology, and Coffee Humanities.
Nanwon City explained that in this session, they have newly included book discussions and humanities programs to allow citizens to experience learning beyond hobbies, reflecting on life and sharing thoughts.
The tuition fee is 1,000 won per session, and it is paid in a lump sum according to the number of sessions for each program. Basic livelihood security recipients, those aged 65 and above, registered disabled persons, national merit recipients and their bereaved families, multi-child parents, single-parent families, etc., can be exempt from the tuition fee for one course upon submission of proof documents.
An official from Nanwon City stated, "We will expand the opportunities for lifelong learning by providing intensive lifelong learning opportunities so that citizens of all backgrounds can enjoy learning in their daily lives."

남원시, 실용·인문 강좌 담은 ‘촘촘학습 시즌1’ 운영
남원시가 시민의 다양한 학습 수요를 반영한 ‘2026년 남원시 수시특강 촘촘학습 시즌1’을 4월 20일부터 5월 27일까지 운영한다.
수강 신청은 4월 1일 오전 9시부터 4월 10일 오후 5시까지 남원시 통합예약·신청시스템을 통해 선착순으로 받는다.
이번 촘촘학습 시즌1은 생활밀착형 강좌인 ‘일상채움 평생교육’과 인문·사유형 강좌인 ‘사유반짝 평생교육’으로 나뉘어 진행된다. 총 10과정, 41회차로 구성돼 시민들이 취향과 관심에 따라 폭넓게 참여할 수 있도록 했다.
주요 강좌는 홈스토랑, 홈카페 디저트, 꽃바구니 만들기, 한국수어 첫걸음, 시니어 필라테스, 임산부 필라테스 등 실용 강좌와 SNS 실전, 독서토론, 인도 신화, 커피 인문학 등 인문 강좌로 마련됐다.
남원시는 이번 과정에 독서토론과 인문 프로그램을 새롭게 포함해 시민들이 취미 활동을 넘어 삶을 성찰하고 생각을 나누는 배움까지 경험할 수 있도록 했다고 설명했다.
수강료는 1회당 1000원이며, 프로그램별 횟수에 따라 일괄 납부한다. 기초생활수급자와 65세 이상, 등록 장애인, 국가유공자와 유족, 다자녀 부모, 한부모가정 등은 증빙서류를 제출하면 1개 과정에 한해 수강료를 면제받을 수 있다.
남원시 관계자는 “시민 누구나 일상 속에서 배움의 즐거움을 누릴 수 있도록 촘촘한 평생학습 기회를 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
