The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education held the first 'Jeonbuk Student Support Integration Support Committee' on the 5th floor conference room of the main office on the 1st, officially launching the comprehensive regional support system for students in complex crises.
The Student Support Integration Support Committee is a body that deliberates on the early detection and intervention system for students in complex crises, establishment of related policies, etc. This meeting, the first regular meeting held after the enforcement of the Student Support Integration Support Act this year, was attended by 15 members including Acting Superintendent Yoo Jung-gi, the Education Office, local government agencies, welfare and counseling experts.
During the meeting, the 2026 Jeonbuk Student Support Integration Support implementation plan and the final deliberation and resolution on the establishment and operation plan of the Student Support Integration Support Center were made. Accordingly, the foundation of an integrated support system connecting the Education Office, schools, and local communities has been laid.
The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education plans to move away from the existing fragmented support system and strengthen integrated support for students in complex crises by early identification and joint response by schools, the Education Office, and the local community. Issues that cannot be resolved by schools alone will be addressed through tailored support by connecting with local resources such as professional counseling agencies and welfare organizations through the Student Support Integration Support Center.
Acting Superintendent Yoo Jung-gi stated, "The establishment of the Student Support Integration Support Committee is a starting point to more carefully observe and support our children," adding, "I will do my best to ensure that not a single child is overlooked and to become a reliable fence for them."
전북교육청, 학생맞춤통합지원위원회 출범… 복합위기 학생 지원 본격화
전북교육청은 1일 본청 5층 회의실에서 ‘2026년 제1회 전북 학생맞춤통합지원위원회’를 열고 복합 위기 학생 지원을 위한 광역 단위 통합지원 체계를 본격화했다.
학생맞춤통합지원위원회는 복합 위기 학생에 대한 조기 발견과 조기 개입 체계 구축, 관련 시책 수립 등을 심의하는 기구다. 이번 회의는 올해 학생맞춤통합지원법 시행 이후 처음 열린 정기회의로, 유정기 교육감 권한대행을 비롯해 교육청, 지자체 유관기관, 복지·상담 전문가 등 15명이 위원으로 참여했다.
이날 회의에서는 2026년 전북 학생맞춤통합지원 추진 계획과 학생맞춤통합지원센터 설치·운영 계획을 최종 심의·의결했다. 이에 따라 교육청과 학교, 지역사회를 잇는 통합 지원 체계의 기틀이 마련됐다.
전북교육청은 앞으로 기존의 분절적 지원 방식에서 벗어나 복합 위기 학생을 조기에 발굴하고, 학교와 교육청, 지역사회가 함께 대응하는 통합 지원을 강화할 방침이다. 학교 단독으로 해결하기 어려운 사안은 학생맞춤통합지원센터가 중심이 돼 전문 상담기관과 복지기관 등 지역 자원과 연계해 맞춤형 지원을 이어갈 계획이다.
유정기 교육감 권한대행은 “학생맞춤통합지원위원회 출범은 우리 아이들을 더욱 세심하게 살피고 지원하기 위한 출발점”이라며 “단 한 명의 아이도 놓치지 않는 든든한 울타리가 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
