Namwon City will conduct a '2026 Social Survey' from the 10th to the 29th to assess the quality of life and subjective perception changes of its citizens.
This survey will target 1,005 households selected as samples within the jurisdiction, consisting of household members aged 15 and above. The survey will primarily be conducted through interviewer-administered face-to-face interviews, but self-administered surveys where respondents fill out the questionnaire themselves will also be conducted if necessary.
The survey consists of 50 questions across 7 categories, including subjective well-being, health and medical care, social integration, safety, environment, household and family, and Namwon City-specific items.
Namwon City plans to utilize the survey results as foundational data for analyzing citizens' perceptions and realities regarding various aspects of daily life, to inform future city administration operations and local policy formulation. The results will be made public through the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province statistical system and Namwon City's official website by the end of December after undergoing statistical analysis.
An official from Namwon City stated, "All collected information will be strictly protected in accordance with statistical laws," and requested, "As this is valuable data for designing Namwon's future, we ask for active cooperation from the citizens."
남원시, 10~29일 사회조사 실시…1,005가구 대상
남원시가 시민의 삶의 질과 주관적 인식 변화를 파악하기 위해 10일부터 29일까지 ‘2026년 사회조사’를 실시한다.
이번 조사는 관내 표본으로 선정된 1,005가구의 만 15세 이상 가구원을 대상으로 진행된다. 조사원 방문 면접조사를 원칙으로 하되, 필요에 따라 응답자가 직접 작성하는 자기기입식 조사도 병행한다.
조사 항목은 주관적 웰빙, 건강·의료, 사회통합, 안전, 환경, 가구·가족, 남원시 특성항목 등 7개 부문 50여 개 문항으로 구성됐다.
남원시는 조사 결과를 바탕으로 시민 생활 전반에 대한 인식과 실태를 분석해 향후 시정 운영과 지역 정책 수립의 기초자료로 활용할 계획이다. 결과는 통계 분석을 거쳐 12월 말 전북특별자치도 통계시스템과 남원시 누리집을 통해 공개된다.
남원시 관계자는 “수집된 모든 정보는 통계법에 따라 엄격히 보호된다”며 “남원의 미래를 설계하는 소중한 자료인 만큼 시민들의 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
