Jeongeup City is accepting applications for the '2026 Major Agricultural Price Stability Support Project' until May 29 to alleviate the financial burden on farmers due to the decline in agricultural prices and create a stable farming environment.
The supported items include dried red pepper, ginger, and field potatoes, focusing on agricultural products with significant market price fluctuations that pose a high risk to farming operations, in order to establish a minimum income safety net.
The supported area ranges from 1,000㎡ to a maximum of 10,000㎡ per item, and if the market price falls below the reference price, 90% of the price difference will be supported.
Farmers wishing to participate in the project should first sign a sales contract with their local agricultural cooperative or the Jeongeup Danpung Beauty Cooperative Corporation, a unified marketing organization, and then submit the contract along with the application form to the administrative welfare center in their village, town, or neighborhood where the farmland is located.
A Jeongeup City official stated, "This project provides practical assistance in alleviating the financial uncertainty of farmers cultivating agricultural products with significant price fluctuations," adding, "We will continue to actively pursue support policies for stable farm income in the future."
정읍시, 주요 농산물 가격안정 지원사업 접수…5월 29일까지 신청
정읍시가 농산물 가격 하락으로 인한 농가의 경영 부담을 덜고 안정적인 영농 환경 조성을 위해 오는 5월 29일까지 ‘2026년 주요 농산물 가격안정 지원사업’ 신청을 받는다.
지원 대상 품목은 건고추, 생강, 노지 감자 등 3개 품목으로, 시장 가격 변동 폭이 커 경영 위험이 큰 농산물을 중심으로 최소한의 소득 안전망을 마련하기 위해 추진된다.
지원 면적은 품목당 1000㎡에서 최대 1만㎡까지이며, 시장 가격이 기준 가격보다 하락할 경우 그 차액의 90%를 지원한다.
사업 참여를 희망하는 농업인은 먼저 관할 지역농협이나 통합마케팅조직인 정읍단풍미인조합공동사업법인과 출하 계약을 체결한 뒤, 계약서를 지참해 농지 소재지 읍·면·동 행정복지센터에 신청서와 함께 제출하면 된다.
정읍시 관계자는 “가격 변동성이 큰 농산물 재배 농가의 경영 불안을 덜어주는 데 실질적인 도움이 되는 사업”이라며 “앞으로도 농가 소득 안정을 위한 지원 정책을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
