Sae Gang Hospital and the Jeonbuk Independent Film Association held an official partnership sponsorship agreement ceremony at Sae Gang Hospital on April 24th.
This agreement was established to expand mutual exchange and communication between local filmmakers in Jeonbuk and local medical institutions, and to cooperate in promoting the activation of local film culture. Through this agreement, Sae Gang Hospital plans to actively engage in sponsorship and cooperation for the development of the independent film ecosystem in Jeonbuk by maintaining continuous communication with local filmmakers.
As the first collaborative project, Sae Gang Hospital will participate as the sole sponsor in the "Local Film Network Joyful Singing Contest with Sae Gang Hospital" held from 1 p.m. on May 5th during the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival. This event is a gathering for filmmakers from all over the country who visit the Jeonju International Film Festival to socialize and interact, and Sae Gang Hospital is providing active support for the successful hosting of the event.
The Jeonbuk Independent Film Association, as a result of this agreement, plans to broaden its cooperation base with local companies and institutions and will make more efforts to activate the local filmmaker network centered around film festivals. They aim to expand the scope of independent films in Jeonbuk by providing various opportunities for local filmmakers to create, interact, and collaborate.
A representative from Sae Gang Hospital stated, "It is meaningful to be able to collaborate with filmmakers who have been actively working in the Jeonbuk region," and expressed their commitment to continue supporting local cultural artists and being a positive force in the local community. A representative from the Jeonbuk Independent Film Association expressed gratitude for Sae Gang Hospital's interest and sponsorship towards local filmmakers, hoping that this agreement will be a meaningful starting point for the growth of local film culture and the community.
Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk Independent Film Association has been continuously engaged in independent film production, screening, education, and exchange activities in the Jeonbuk region, contributing to the development of local film culture through various projects, including the Jeonbuk Independent Film Festival.
새강병원·전북독립영화협회, 지역영화 활성화 위해 손잡다
새강병원과 (사)전북독립영화협회가 지난 4월 24일 새강병원에서 공식 파트너 후원 협약식을 진행했다.
이번 협약은 전북 지역 영화인들과 지역 의료기관이 상호 교류와 소통을 확대하고, 지역 영화문화 활성화를 위해 함께 협력하기 위해 마련됐다. 새강병원은 이번 협약을 통해 앞으로 지역 영화인들과 지속적으로 소통하며, 전북 독립영화 생태계 발전을 위한 후원과 협력에 적극적으로 나설 계획이다.
그 첫 번째 협력 사업으로 새강병원은 제27회 전주국제영화제 기간 중 5월 5일 오후 1시부터 진행되는 ‘새강병원과 함께하는 지역영화네트워크 명랑 노래자랑’에 단독 후원사로 참여한다. 해당 행사는 전주국제영화제를 찾는 전국의 지역 영화인들이 함께 어울리고 교류하는 자리로, 새강병원은 행사의 성공적인 개최를 위해 적극적인 지원을 이어가고 있다.
(사)전북독립영화협회는 이번 협약을 계기로 지역 기업 및 기관과의 협력 기반을 넓히고, 영화제를 중심으로 한 지역 영화인 네트워크 활성화에 더욱 힘쓸 예정이다. 특히 지역 영화인들이 창작 활동뿐 아니라 서로 교류하고 연대할 수 있는 다양한 자리를 마련해 전북 독립영화의 외연을 확장해 나갈 계획이다.
새강병원 관계자는 “전북 지역에서 꾸준히 활동해 온 영화인들과 함께할 수 있어 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 지역 문화예술인들과 소통하고, 지역사회에 긍정적인 힘이 될 수 있는 후원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
(사)전북독립영화협회 관계자는 “지역 영화인들을 향한 새강병원의 관심과 후원에 감사드린다”며 “이번 협약이 단순한 후원을 넘어 지역 영화문화와 지역사회가 함께 성장하는 의미 있는 출발점이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
