Jeonju Education University Jeonju Elementary School (Principal Choi Sang-jin) held the '2026 Harmony Sports Festival' on the school playground on April 28, with all students and parents participating together.
The Harmony Sports Festival was organized with the aim of promoting healthy physical development and a sense of community among students in conjunction with the curriculum. The event was structured based on the developmental levels of each grade and the IB (International Baccalaureate) learner profile, and included various programs such as flag planting, balloon popping, jump rope, relay races, to provide experiences of cooperation and the value of challenge. Operating under the team system of 'Sangrok-Nuri,' it enhanced a sense of community that transcended grades, and added educational significance by involving parents in games and cheering, emphasizing the collaboration between school and home.
Principal Choi Sang-jin stated, "This sports festival was a meaningful time for students to grow together and bond," adding, "We will continue to foster a student-centered healthy school culture in the future." A 6th-grade student expressed, "As it was the last sports festival in elementary school, preparing and participating with friends became a good memory."
전주교대부설초, 전교생·학부모 함께하는 체육대회 개최
전주교육대학교전주부설초등학교(교장 최상진)가 4월 28일 본교 운동장에서 전교생과 학부모가 함께하는 '2026 한마음 체육대회'를 개최했다.
이번 한마음 체육대회는 교육과정과 연계해 학생들의 건강한 신체 발달과 공동체 의식 함양을 목적으로 마련됐다. 행사는 학년별 발달 수준과 IB(국제 바칼로레아) 학습자상을 반영해 구성됐으며, 깃발꽂기·풍선 터뜨리기·줄다리기·릴레이 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 협동과 도전의 가치를 경험하도록 했다. '상록-누리' 팀 체제를 운영해 학년을 넘나드는 공동체 의식을 강화했으며, 학부모 참여 경기와 응원을 포함해 학교와 가정이 함께하는 교육적 의미를 더했다.
최상진 교장은 "이번 체육대회는 학생들이 함께 어울리며 성장하는 의미 있는 시간이었다"며 "앞으로도 학생 중심의 건강한 학교 문화를 지속적으로 조성해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다. 전교생 6학년 학생은 "초등학교 마지막 체육대회여서 친구들과 함께 준비하며 좋은 추억이 됐다"고 소감을 전했다.
