The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 4th that it will operate customized consulting for 147 Jeonbuk Future Schools for the 2026 academic year.
This consulting will be conducted until June 5th, with a field support team of 154 members consisting of vice principals, head teachers, senior teachers, teachers, and educational specialists matched with each school. The target schools include 4 kindergartens, 69 elementary schools, 40 middle schools, and 34 high schools.
The consulting will be divided among organizing institutions based on the school's years of operation and specific characteristics. 55 schools, including first-year Jeonbuk Future Schools and IB schools, will be overseen by the Provincial Office of Education's Future Education Division, while 92 second and third-year Jeonbuk Future Schools will be supervised by each Education Support Office.
The Provincial Office of Education will identify the needs of school sites to support the operation of key tasks at Jeonbuk Future Schools and discover cases of creative educational programs at each school. To this end, they will provide support in stages, from schools' pre-self-assessment to sharing results after consulting.
Jang Ki-young, head of the Future Education Division at the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education, said, "This consulting will help in the operation of distinctive and creative educational programs at each school," adding, "We will support Jeonbuk Future Schools to establish themselves as a leading model in Jeonbuk education."

현장지원단 154명 참여… 학교 연차·영역별 운영 점검
전북교육청은 2026학년도 전북미래학교 147개교를 대상으로 맞춤형 컨설팅을 운영한다고 4일 밝혔다.
이번 컨설팅은 교감, 원감, 수석교사, 교사, 교육전문직원 등으로 구성된 현장지원단 154명이 각 학교와 매칭돼 오는 6월 5일까지 진행된다. 대상 학교는 유치원 4곳, 초등학교 69곳, 중학교 40곳, 고등학교 34곳이다.
컨설팅은 학교 운영 연차와 영역별 특성을 반영해 주관 기관을 나눠 진행된다. 1년 차 전북미래학교와 IB 학교 등 55개교는 도교육청 미래교육과가 맡고, 2·3년 차 전북미래학교 92개교는 각 교육지원청이 주관한다.
도교육청은 학교 현장의 요구를 파악해 전북미래학교 중점과제 운영을 지원하고, 학교별 창의적 교육과정 사례를 발굴하는 데 초점을 둘 계획이다. 이를 위해 학교의 사전 자체 점검부터 컨설팅 이후 결과 공유까지 단계별로 지원한다.
장기영 전북교육청 미래교육과장은 “이번 컨설팅이 각 학교의 특색 있는 창의적 교육과정 운영에 도움이 될 것”이라며 “전북미래학교가 전북교육을 선도하는 모델로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
