The Jeonbuk Office of Education announced that they will be holding a food industry recruitment briefing session at Jeonju Life Science High School on the 7th.
This briefing session is part of the Jeonbuk Office of Education's "Vocational High School Employment Roadmap Program" and is designed to increase understanding of food-related companies and provide accurate recruitment information to students.
About 120 students from 10 vocational high schools in the province specializing in food-related fields are expected to participate in the session. Companies such as CJ Foodville Eumseong Factory, Monayong Resort, and Avon Hotel will introduce job descriptions, recruitment procedures, desired qualifications, working environment, etc., in the food processing, cooking, and service sectors.
Students will participate in a Q&A session based on their prior research on the companies and will have the opportunity to confirm specific job preparation methods for companies they are interested in.
In a previous 1st round recruitment briefing session held last month, CJ Foodville Bibs and Best Western Hotel participated, providing information on trends in the food industry, food manufacturing, quality control, and related job roles.
Oh Ji-sook, head of the Creative Talent Education Department at the Jeonbuk Office of Education, stated, "This briefing session aims to enhance the employment capabilities of vocational high school students and expand employment opportunities through collaboration with excellent companies," adding, "We will continue to expand opportunities for job preparation and career exploration in various industries in the future."
전북교육청, 직업계고 학생 대상 식품산업 채용 설명회 개최
도내 10개교 120여 명 참여… 식품가공·조리·서비스 분야 채용 정보 제공
전북교육청은 오는 7일 전주생명과학고등학교에서 식품산업 채용 설명회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 설명회는 전북교육청의 ‘직업계고 취업 로드맵 프로그램’의 하나로, 식품 관련 기업에 대한 이해를 높이고 학생들에게 정확한 채용 정보를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
설명회에는 도내 10개 직업계고 식품계열 학과 학생 120여 명이 참여할 예정이다. CJ푸드빌 음성공장, 모나용평리조트, 에이본 호텔이 참여해 식품가공·조리·서비스 분야의 직무 내용과 채용 절차, 인재상, 근무 환경 등을 소개한다.
학생들은 사전에 조사한 기업 정보를 바탕으로 질의응답에 참여하며, 관심 기업의 취업 준비 방법을 구체적으로 확인할 예정이다.
앞서 지난달 열린 1차 채용 설명회에는 CJ푸드빌 빕스와 베스트웨스턴 호텔이 참여해 식품산업 동향과 식품제조, 품질관리 등 관련 직무 정보를 제공했다.
오지숙 전북교육청 창의인재교육과장은 “이번 설명회는 직업계고 학생들의 취업 역량을 높이고 우수 기업과의 연계를 통해 취업 기회를 넓히기 위한 것”이라며 “앞으로도 다양한 산업 분야에서 취업 준비와 진로 탐색 기회를 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
