Jeonbuk Hyundai has once again received international recognition for having one of the top youth development systems in Asia.
The AFC (Asian Football Confederation) recently announced the renewal of KFA's (Korean Football Association) 'AFC Elite Youth Scheme' 3-Star status, and Jeonbuk Hyundai Youth Academy also officially announced that they have maintained their membership this year following their first 3-Star acquisition in 2020.
This re-certification is an esteemed status that can only be obtained by proving that all elements, including player education rights, scientific training equipment, medical support systems, among others, are at a 'world-class' level, not just based on performance.
The AFC Elite Youth Scheme is AFC's leading youth certification system that rigorously evaluates 20 areas including youth development systems, player development environments, educational systems, and operational infrastructure across Asia, grading each country and club's development capacity with stars.
The ratings range from 1-Star to 3-Star, with the highest rating of '3-Star' only being awarded to countries with the most comprehensive youth systems in Asia.
Jeonbuk Hyundai has once again demonstrated its top-tier academy competitiveness in Asia by receiving high evaluations for its systematic age-specific development systems, player growth processes, specialized coaching environments, and sustainable youth operational models.
Jeonbuk Hyundai has been producing numerous promising talents based on a structured age-specific system from U8 to U18, aligned with the professional team's philosophy. They have also made efforts to create a comprehensive growth environment that includes character development, academics, and lifestyle management.
Jeonbuk Hyundai plans to continue enhancing their youth infrastructure to provide players with a better environment for development, not settling with the recent 3-Star re-certification. 전북현대가 아시아 최고 수준의 유스 육성 시스템을 다시 한번 국제적으로 인정받았다.
AFC(아시아축구연맹)은 최근 발표를 통해 KFA(대한축구협회)의 ‘AFC Elite Youth Scheme’ 3-Star 지위를 갱신했으며, 전북현대 유스 아카데미 역시 2020년 첫 3-Star 취득에 이어 올해도 멤버십을 유지했다고 공식 발표했다.
이번 재인증은 단순한 성적뿐만 아니라 선수의 교육권 보장, 과학적 훈련 장비, 의료 지원 체계 등 모든 요소가 ‘월드 클래스’ 수준임을 증명해야만 획득할 수 있는 권위 있는 지위다.
AFC Elite Youth Scheme은 아시아 전역의 유스 육성 시스템과 선수 개발 환경, 교육 체계, 운영 인프라 등을 총 20개 분야를 엄격히 심사해 각 국가와 클럽의 육성 역량을 별(Star)로 등급을 부여하는 AFC의 대표적인 유소년 인증 제도다.
등급은 1-Star부터 3-Star까지 나뉘며, 최고 등급인 ‘3-Star’는 아시아에서 가장 완벽한 유스 시스템을 갖춘 국가에만 부여된다.
전북현대는 체계적인 연령별 육성 시스템과 선수 성장 프로세스, 전문 지도 환경, 지속 가능한 유소년 운영 모델 등에서 높은 평가를 받으며 아시아 최고 수준의 아카데미 경쟁력을 다시 한번 입증했다.
전북현대는 그동안 U8부터 U18까지 이어지는 연령별 시스템 구축과 함께, 프로팀 철학과 연계된 육성 방향을 기반으로 다수의 유망주를 배출해왔다.
또한 선수 육성뿐 아니라 인성과 학업, 생활 관리까지 포함한 종합적인 성장 환경 조성에도 힘써왔다.
전북현대는 이번 3-Star 등급 재인증에 안주하지 않고, 선수들을 더 나은 환경에서 육성할 수 있는 유스 인프라를 확충해 나갈 계획이다.
