EBS has been selected as an institution for the use of the 'Lifelong Education Voucher' organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education Development for the sixth consecutive year. In addition, it has been selected as an institution where the 'Digital Lifelong Education Voucher' can also be used, expanding educational support for adult learners.
EBS operates over 100 premium courses that can be taken within the support fund limit of 350,000 won for holders of the Lifelong Education Voucher and Digital Lifelong Education Voucher.
In this round of courses, high-priced package products such as licensed real estate agents and civil servants are included at voucher-exclusive prices to reduce the economic burden on learners.
Especially this year, practical courses on artificial intelligence (AI) have been significantly strengthened. Courses focusing on practical skills for office workers, such as Excel automation, report summarization, and email writing using the latest AI tools like ChatGPT, Geminai, Genspark, and Claude, have been introduced.
Design courses utilizing image generation AI and Canva are also included, expected to help small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in creating posters, presentations, promotional materials, and more.
For job seekers and young adults, EBS offers courses such as TOEIC, computer proficiency, Vibe coding, and civil service exam preparation. For middle-aged and senior citizens, they provide courses on social welfare, qualification exams, electrician certification, real estate agent certification, basic computer skills, and re-employment qualifications.
An EBS official stated, "We have focused on creating content that can be beneficial in practical fields, as we have been selected as an official institution for the sixth consecutive year," adding, "We hope that AI courses will contribute to improving the digital literacy of the public and promoting economic independence."

EBS, 평생교육이용권·디지털 평생교육이용권 사용기관 선정
AI 실무·자격증 등 100여 개 프리미엄 강좌 제공
EBS가 교육부와 국가평생교육진흥원이 주관하는 ‘평생교육이용권’ 사용기관으로 6년 연속 선정됐다. 이와 함께 ‘디지털 평생교육이용권’도 사용할 수 있는 기관으로 선정돼 성인 학습자를 위한 교육 지원을 확대한다.
EBS는 평생교육이용권과 디지털 평생교육이용권 소지자를 대상으로 지원금 한도인 35만 원 내에서 수강할 수 있는 100여 개의 프리미엄 강좌를 운영한다.
이번 강좌에는 공인중개사, 공무원 등 기존 고가 패키지 상품이 바우처 전용가로 포함돼 학습자의 경제적 부담을 줄일 수 있도록 했다.
특히 올해는 인공지능(AI) 실무 강좌가 대폭 강화됐다. 챗GPT, 제미나이, 젠스파크, 클로드 등 최신 AI 도구를 활용한 엑셀 자동화, 보고서 요약, 이메일 작성 등 직장인 실무 중심 강좌가 마련됐다.
또 이미지 생성 AI와 캔바를 활용한 디자인 강좌도 포함돼 소상공인과 창업 준비자들이 포스터, 발표자료, 홍보물 등을 직접 제작하는 데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.
EBS는 취업 준비생과 사회초년생을 위해 토익, 컴퓨터활용능력, 바이브 코딩, 공무원 강좌 등을 제공하고, 중장년과 시니어를 대상으로 사회복지사, 검정고시, 전기기사, 공인중개사, 컴퓨터 기초 등 재취업·자격증 과정도 운영한다.
EBS 관계자는 “6년 연속 공식 기관으로 선정된 만큼 실무 현장에서 효과를 볼 수 있는 콘텐츠 구성에 집중했다”며 “AI 강좌가 국민의 디지털 문해력 향상과 경제적 자립에 도움이 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
