The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education will host a '2026 Employment Support Officer Capacity Enhancement Training' at Korea University of Technology and Education in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do from the 11th to the 13th.
This training is designed to enhance the professionalism of employment support officers who connect vocational high school students with local industries, and strengthen successful employment for students and their connection with local industries.
A total of 17 employment support officers working in 14 vocational high schools in the province, including Gunsan Mechanical High School, Jeonju High School, and Hydrogen Energy High School, participated in the training.
The three-day training program consisted of key policy guidance from the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education, strategies for identifying employment opportunities, basic and advanced vocational counseling, practical establishment of employment plans, and guidance on field practice manuals.
In particular, the training focused on enhancing on-site-centered employment support capabilities such as identifying employment opportunities and building networks with local industries, guidance on resume and cover letter writing, interview coaching, student counseling, and motivation.
This year, new courses have been introduced to enhance employment guidance using generative artificial intelligence and improve work productivity. Through this, plans are in place to enhance AI-based employment support capabilities such as support for writing cover letters, predicting interview questions, and more.
Oh Ji-sook, head of the Creative Talent Education Department at the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education, said, "Employment support officers play a bridging role connecting vocational high school students with local industries," and added, "We will continue to provide support to help students grow into future talents in local companies."
전북교육청, 직업계고 취업지원관 역량 강화 연수
도내 14개 직업계고 취업지원관 17명 참여
전북교육청이 11일부터 13일까지 충남 천안 한국기술교육대학교에서 ‘2026년 취업지원관 역량 강화 연수’를 개최한다.
이번 연수는 직업계고 학생과 지역 산업체를 연결하는 취업지원관의 전문성을 높이고, 학생들의 성공적인 취업과 지역 산업체 연계를 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
연수에는 군산기계공고, 전주공고, 수소에너지고 등 도내 14개 직업계고에서 근무하는 취업지원관 17명이 참여했다.
3일간 진행되는 연수는 전북교육청 주요 정책 안내를 시작으로 취업처 발굴 전략, 직업상담 기초·심화, 취업계획 수립 실무, 현장실습 매뉴얼 안내 등으로 구성됐다.
특히 취업처 발굴과 지역 산업체 네트워크 구축, 이력서·자기소개서 작성 지도, 면접 코칭, 학생 상담과 동기부여 등 현장 중심의 취업지원 역량을 강화하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
올해는 생성형 인공지능을 활용한 취업지도와 업무 생산성 향상 과정도 새롭게 마련됐다. 이를 통해 자기소개서 작성 지원, 면접 질문 예측 등 AI 기반 취업지원 역량도 함께 높일 계획이다.
오지숙 전북교육청 창의인재교육과장은 “취업지원관은 직업계고 학생과 지역 산업체를 잇는 가교역할을 하고 있다”며 “학생들이 지역 기업에서 미래인재로 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
