The fifth performance of the first half of the year for the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province National Gugak Center (hereinafter referred to as the Gugak Center), titled
This stage is a Pansori Yeonchang performance prepared by the Changgeukdan (artistic director Kim Chagyeong). Five young female vocalists will present the main scenes of the five basic elements of Pansori in different colors. With unique tones and rich expressiveness for each character, the audience will have the opportunity to appreciate the essence of Pansori in one place.
Member Song Gayoung will start with her voice, followed by Lee Jeongin, Yoo Huiwon, Go Seungjo, and Han Danyoung presenting a total of six Pansori NundaeMok pieces. Park Chuwoo and Park Jongho, renowned musicians, will also join the performance.
The first stage will feature member Song Gayoung's 'Heungboga First Scene of Pakta'. As the autumn Chuseok approaches, Heungbo and his wife decide to boil the first batch of rice cakes with the rice that comes out of the pot, leading to their sudden wealth. This scene quickly unfolds with the sound of cutting firewood and money and rice coming out of the pot, depicting the hardships of human life in a satirical way.
The second stage will be member Lee Jeongin's 'Chunhyangga Orijeong Farewell Scene'. It delicately portrays the heartbreaking farewell scene of Chunhyang and Mongryong at Orijeong.
The third stage will be member Yoo Huiwon's 'Sugungga Rabbit Palran Scene'. It depicts the story of a rabbit being lured by a fox to Sugung with the promise of avoiding the three calamities, presented in a lively manner.
The fourth stage will be member Go Seungjo's 'Simcheongga Preparing for Departure Scene'. It portrays Simcheong revealing her sadness and determination to her sleeping father the night before being taken away as a tribute, showcasing restrained sorrow and Simcheong's anguish through deep melodies.
The fifth and final performance will be member Han Danyoung's 'Jeokbyeokga Joralyong Shooting Scene', a representative scene of Jeokbyeokga. It features Joralyong escorting Jegal Gongmyeong back to his homeland after defeating the pursuing generals from the enemy country, showcasing the essence of Jeokbyeokga with powerful vocals and intense rhythm.
도랍국악원, 판소리 다섯바탕 눈대목 <오인오색 소리열전>
전북특별자치도립국악원(이하 국악원) 상반기 목요상설 가무악 5회차 <판소리 다섯바탕 눈대목‘오인오색 소리열전’>이 21일 저녁 7시 30분 한국소리문화의전당 명인홀에서 펼쳐진다.
이번 무대는 창극단(예술감독 김차경)에서 준비한 판소리 연창 무대이다. 젊은 여성 소리꾼 5인이 판소리 다섯 바탕의 주요 대목을 각기 다른 색채로 선보입니다. 창자마다 결이 다른 소리와 풍부한 표현력을 바탕으로, 판소리의 정수를 한 자리에서 감상할 수 있는 시간을 마련한다.
송가영 단원의 소리를 시작으로 이정인, 유희원, 고승조, 한단영 단원이 총 여섯 개의 판소리 눈대목을 선사한다. 고수에는 박추우 단원과 박종호 명고가 함께한다.
첫 무대는 송가영 단원의 ‘흥보가 中 첫째 박타는 대목’이다. 흥보 내외가 팔월추석이 다가오자 박이라도 타서 끓여 먹을 량으로 첫 번째 박을 타고 그 속에서 돈과 쌀이 나와 부자가 되는 내용을 담고 있다. 시리렁 실근 톱질하는 소리와 박에서 돈과 쌀이 나오는 장면이 빠르게 전개되며 인간사 고단한 삶을 해학적으로 승화시킨 대목이다.
두 번째 무대는 이정인 단원의 ‘춘향가 中 오리정 이별대목’이다. 춘향과 몽룡(이도령)이 오리정에서 이별하는 장면으로 이별의 정한(情恨)이 먹먹하게 다가오는 감정을 섬세하게 표현한다.
세 번째 무대는 유희원 단원의 ‘수궁가 中 토끼 팔란 대목’이 펼쳐진다. 별주부가 토끼를 만나 얼굴에 화망살이 있어 삼재팔란을 당할 것이라 하며 토끼를 꾀어 수궁으로 데리고 가는 내용으로 중모리, 자진모리, 진양조장단이 유장하게 펼쳐진다.
네 번째 무대는 고승조 단원이‘심청가 中 행선전야 대목’을 들려준다. 심청이가 인당수로 끌려가기 전날 밤, 잠든 아버지 곁에서 눈물로 자신의 슬픔과 결심을 드러내는 장면이다. 진양장단과 깊은 진계면 선율을 통해 절제된 비애와 심청의 고뇌가 잘 나타내는 가장 애절한 대목으로 꼽힌다.
다섯 번째 소리는 한단영 단원의 ‘적벽가 中 조자룡 활쏘는 대목’은 적벽가 대표적인 눈대목이다. 조자룡이 동남풍을 빈 후 본국으로 귀국하는 제갈공명을 호위하며 돌아오다가, 추격해 오는 오나라 장수 서성과 정봉을 무찌르는 내용의 소리 대목이다. 탄탄한 성음과 강인한 통성을 통해 웅장하고 박진감 넘치는 적벽가의 진수를 들려준다.
