The Jeonbuk Provincial Museum of Art (Director Lee Ae-sun) announced that as part of a special screening program in collaboration with the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival, they will be screening the film "The Adventures of Chicken" (97 minutes, all ages) on May 30th and will also hold a dialogue session (GV) with the audience.
This program was planned to provide artistic experiences continuously to residents and audiences who missed out on the film festival period. Following the screenings of "Another Dream of Summer" on the 2nd and 16th of the month, this time, a warm and profound work that families can enjoy together will be presented to the audience.
"The Adventures of Chicken," which will be screened twice on May 30th and June 6th, is an invited work from the World Cinema section of the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival. Directed by PÁLFI György, one of Hungary's leading directors, the film reflects on the lives of us humans through the journey of a chicken who rejects fate in an ironic way. The film is praised for its captivating storyline that appeals to all generations from children to adults.
Especially, immediately after the first screening on May 30th, there will be a 'dialogue with the audience' session to deeply discuss the artistic value and message of the film. Producer Jo Young-gak will participate as a guest following the previous screening, and Kim Hyo-jeong, the programmer of the Jeonju International Film Festival, will moderate a rich conversation. It is expected to be a special time where various stories about the work, as well as interesting behind-the-scenes stories related to the Jeonju International Film Festival, can be heard through the profound perspectives of the two experts.

전북도립미술관(관장 이애선)은 제27회 전주국제영화제와의 협업으로 진행 중인 특별 상영 프로그램의 일환으로, 오는 5월 30일 영화 「암탉의 모험」(97분, 전체관람가) 상영 및 관객과의 대화(GV)를 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 영화제 기간을 놓친 도민들과 관객들에게 예술적 경험을 지속적으로 제공하고자 기획되었다. 지난 2일과 16일에 진행된 「또 다른 여름의 꿈」상영에 이어, 이번에는 가족 단위 관람객이 함께 즐길 수 있는 따뜻하고 깊이 있는 작품으로 관객들을 찾아온다.
5월 30일과 6월 6일 두 차례에 걸쳐 상영되는 「암탉의 모험」은 제27회 전주국제영화제 월드시네마 초청작이다. 헝가리를 대표하는 감독 중 한 명인 팔피 죄르지(PÁLFI György)의 작품으로, 운명을 거부하는 암탉의 여정을 통해 역설적으로 우리 인간들의 삶을 비추어낸다. 해당 영화는 흡입력있는 스토리라인을 갖춰 어린이부터 성인까지 전 세대가 함께 관람하기에 좋는 평을 받는다.
