The art group 'Jeonohoe', composed of the 5th graduates of Jeonju National University of Education, will hold its 13th regular exhibition from June 8th (Mon) to 13th (Sat) at the 2nd floor exhibition hall of Jeonbuk Education and Culture Center.
This year's exhibition will showcase around 63 works of various genres such as photography, painting, calligraphy, and poetry. Participating artists include Kim Byeongbong, Won Jeong Choi Hyeon, Hojeong Bang Kijong, Yoojeong Bae Soongeum, Yeonbong Lee Chunsu, Woo Im Kiok, Youngsan Yoon Chunheung, Myungseok, Hyeun O Yangsoo, Ilgye Kang Dongil, Samsan Jung Gyeongryong, and Lee Wonyu, totaling 12 individuals, all of whom have a common background as educators and have been consistently engaged in artistic activities.
Jeonohoe was founded in 2008 with Kim Jin-hoe as the inaugural chairman, focusing on fostering friendship and sharing the authenticity of life among alumni rather than artistic achievements. Particularly since the 5th exhibition, they have expanded their scope to include literature such as poetry and essays, enhancing the depth of their exhibitions.
Chairman Lee Chunsu stated in his greeting, "Though time passes quickly, the emotions, love, and memories accumulated within that time are never in vain," and expressed, "The joy of expression when valuable and grateful relationships gather like this is an irreplaceable precious value."
This exhibition is open for free viewing to the general public. The organizers expressed their hope that through the traces of life and art accumulated over the years by alumni artists, visitors can share moments of emotion and reflection.
전주교대 5회 졸업동문 예술전 열세번째 ‘전오회 展’, 전북교육문화회관서 열려
전주교육대학교 제5회 졸업동문들로 구성된 예술 단체 '전오회'가 제13회 정기전시회를 6월 8일(월)부터 13일(토)까지 전북교육문화회관 2층 전시실에서 개최한다.
올해 전시는 사진, 회화, 서예, 시 등 다양한 장르의 작품 63여 점이 선보인다. 참가 작가는 김병봉, 원정 최현, 호정 방기종, 유정 배순금, 연봉 이춘수, 우보 임기옥, 영산 윤춘흥, 유명석, 혜운 오양수, 일계 강동일, 심산 정경룡, 이원유 등 12명으로, 이들은 교육자 출신이라는 공통된 배경을 바탕으로 예술 활동을 꾸준히 이어오고 있다.
전오회는 2008년 김진회 초대 회장을 중심으로 창립되었으며, 예술적 성취보다는 동문 간의 우정과 삶의 진실성을 나누는 데 중점을 두고 활동을 이어오고 있다. 특히 5회 전시부터는 시, 수필 등 문학 분야까지 영역을 넓혀 전시의 깊이를 더하고 있다.
이춘수 회장은 인사말에서 “세월은 빠르게 흘러가도, 그 세월 속에 쌓인 우리의 마음과 사랑, 그리고 추억은 결코 헛되지 않은 것”이라며, “값지고 고마운 인연이 이렇게 모여 표현의 즐거움은 무엇과도 바꿀수 없는 소중한 가치”라고 전했다.
이번 전시는 일반 시민 누구나 무료로 관람 가능하다. 주최 측은 “동문 작가들의 오랜 시간 축적된 삶과 예술의 흔적을 통해 감동과 성찰의 시간을 나누길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
