The 1st Myeongsan Topsa Cup Ground Golf Tournament Opens

The 1st Maesan Topsa Cup Ground Golf Tournament (Individual Competition), hosted by Jinan Maesan Topsa (Chief Monk Jinseong) and organized by the Jinan Ground Golf Association, was successfully held at the Jinan-eup Public Sports Field on the 9th.

This tournament was organized for the promotion of health and fellowship among the elderly in the region. Around 80 elderly players from Jinan, Muju, and Jangsu counties participated in the event.

The event was attended by various volunteers including Maesan Topsa Chief Monk Jinseong, Hyun Jin, the Executive Director of the Budha Corporation, Jeongnyom, the General Secretary of Gamrosa, Jeongryun, the Chief Monk of Gobulsa, Yoon Geum-sang, the President of the Topsa Believers Association, Lee Jae-hyun, the Head of the Budha Volunteer Group, Jeong Hae-ja, the Director of Jeonju Budha Welfare, Cheon Soon-hee, the Director of the Top Band Volunteer Group, Jeong Su-jeong, the Director of the Bori Water Volunteer Group, Choi Gwon-sang, the Director of the Hangul Society, as well as representatives from Hwajun Industry, Jin Yong-jin, the Chairman of the Jinan Ground Golf Association, Jeon Bong-woon, the Chairman of the Jinan Sports Council, and other volunteers.

The Maesan Topsa Budha Volunteer Group and the Bori Water Volunteer Group were responsible for managing the games and providing event guidance to ensure the smooth progress of the tournament.

Volunteers from the Jinan Volunteer Center provided hand-drip coffee and supported the participants for their convenience.

Local community support was also evident. Hwajun Industry's representative, Jang Yoon-sung, sponsored 100 sets of tissue paper, while U Dental Clinic contributed toothbrush sets, adding more significance to the tournament.
