The Jeonju World Sound Festival (organized by Chairman Choi Cheol, hereinafter referred to as the Sound Festival) is recruiting additional volunteers called 'Sound Angels' to participate in the 2026 Sound Festival, which will take place from August 12 to 16.
'Sound Angels' have played an important role in the successful operation of the festival each year by supporting the smooth operation of the festival site and bringing spectators and artists closer together.
Recruitment will continue until July 3, and anyone over the age of 18 (born in 2007 or earlier) who can volunteer during the official schedule period is eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted through the Sound Festival's official website on the Sound Angels page (https://www.sorifestival.com/soriangel/).
There are a total of six recruitment areas: ▲ Planning Team ▲ Stage Team ▲ Event Team ▲ Promotion and Marketing Team ▲ Administrative Team ▲ Record Team. The Planning Team is responsible for program operation support, artist care, and backstage operation, while the Stage Team supports performance venue equipment and stage transitions. The Event Team is in charge of comprehensive information center operation, vehicle entry and exit management, and environmental operation. The Promotion and Marketing Team handles press center operation, journalist conference support, surveys, ticket booth duties, SNS content creation, and promotion guidance, while the Administrative Team supports souvenir sales booths and reception operations. The Record Team is responsible for documenting the activities of the Sound Angels through photos and videos.
The results of the document review will be announced on July 6, and online non-face-to-face interviews will be conducted on July 8. The final list of successful candidates will be announced on July 10.
Selected Sound Angels will participate in an orientation, team training, and inauguration ceremony before engaging in activities at the festival site from August 11 to 16. After the activities end, a closing ceremony and awards ceremony for outstanding Sound Angels will be held, and a networking party on August 21 will provide an opportunity to share their experiences.
Participants will receive uniforms, ID cards, bags, hats, and other activity items, as well as benefits such as recognition of volunteer hours through the 1365 Volunteer Portal, meals and snacks, and awards for outstanding activities. Accommodation will also be provided for non-local residents.

전주세계소리축제, 자원봉사자 ‘소리천사’추가 모집
전주세계소리축제(조직위원장 최철, 이하 소리축제)가 8월 12일부터 16일까지 진행되는 2026 소리축제를 함께 만들어갈 자원봉사자 ‘소리천사’를 7월 3일까지 추가로 모집한다.
‘소리천사’는 축제 현장의 원활한 운영을 지원하며 관람객과 아티스트를 가장 가까이에서 만나는 소리축제 자원봉사자로 매년 축제의 성공적인 진행을 이끄는 중요한 역할을 수행해왔다.
모집은 7월 3일까지이며, 만 18세 이상(2007년생 이상), 공식 일정 기간 자원봉사 활동이 가능한 사람이면 누구나 지원할 수 있다. 지원은 소리축제 공식 홈페이지 내 소리천사 홈페이지(https://www.sorifestival.com/soriangel/)에서 가능하다.
모집 분야는 ▲기획팀 ▲무대팀 ▲행사팀 ▲홍보 및 마케팅팀 ▲행정팀 ▲기록 분야 등 총 6개 분야다. 기획팀은 프로그램 운영 지원과 아티스트 케어, 백스테이지 운영을 맡으며, 무대팀은 공연장 장비 및 무대 전환 등을 지원한다. 행사팀은 종합안내소 운영과 차량 진·출입 관리, 환경 운영을 담당한다. 홍보 및 마케팅팀은 프레스센터 운영, 기자회견 지원, 설문조사, 티켓 매표소 업무, SNS 콘텐츠 제작 및 홍보 안내를 수행하며, 행정팀은 기념품 판매 부스와 리셉션 운영을 지원한다. 기록 분야는 소리천사 활동 모습을 사진과 영상으로 기록하는 역할을 맡는다.
서류심사 결과는 7월 6일 발표되며 온라인 비대면 면접심사는 7월 8일 진행된다. 최종 합격자는 7월 10일 발표될 예정이다.
선발된 소리천사는 오리엔테이션과 팀별 교육, 발대식을 거쳐 8월 11일부터 16일까지 축제 현장에서 활동하게 된다. 활동 종료 후에는 해단식과 우수 소리천사 시상이 진행되며, 8월 21일에는 네트워크 파티를 통해 활동 경험을 공유하는 자리도 마련된다.
참여자에게는 유니폼, ID카드, 가방, 모자 등 활동 물품이 지급되며 1365자원봉사포털 봉사시간 인정, 식사 및 간식 제공, 우수 활동자 시상 등의 혜택이 제공된다. 지역 외 거주자에게는 숙소도 지원된다.
김정수 집행위원장은 “소리축제는 수많은 자원봉사자들의 열정과 참여로 완성되는 축제”라며 “소리천사는 단순한 운영 지원을 넘어 관람객과 아티스트를 연결하고 축제의 감동을 함께 만들어가는 주역인 만큼, 전통예술과 문화축제에 관심 있는 많은 분들이 참여해 특별한 경험을 함께하길 바란다”고 말했다.
