Jeonbuk Hyundai will take the field for the first game of the K League 1 second half after finishing the 2026 North Central American FIFA World Cup break.
On the 4th, at 7:30 p.m., Jeonju World Cup Stadium (Jeonju Castle), Jeonbuk Hyundai will play against Gangwon FC in the 16th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2026 home game.
This game is not only the first league match after the World Cup break but also holds special significance as it incorporates the concept of the month of patriotism, which could not be observed during the June break.
On this day, Jeonbuk Hyundai will invite ten veterans of the 6.25 Korean War to the stadium to express gratitude and respect, welcoming the heroes who dedicated themselves to the nation through player encouragement and ceremonies before the game.
Furthermore, a donation ceremony will be held, where the proceeds of 10 million won from the Jeonbuk Hyundai N team's home game on Memorial Day, June 6, will be handed over to the Jeonbuk East Veterans Affairs Office.
The donation aims to extend the meaning of patriotism beyond a one-time event and continue as a social contribution activity in collaboration with the local community.

Having been called up to the Lithuanian A national team in 2020, Gytis has consistently performed for the national team and gained experience in various European leagues such as Lithuania, Albania, and Ukraine, mastering diverse football styles.

전북현대는 4일 오후 7시 30분 전주월드컵경기장(전주성)에서 강원FC를 상대로 하나은행 K리그1 2026 16라운드 홈경기를 치른다.
이번 경기는 월드컵 휴식기 이후 처음 열리는 리그 경기인 동시에, 6월 휴식기로 진행하지 못했던 호국보훈의 달 콘셉트를 담아 더욱 뜻깊은 경기로 마련됐다.
전북현대는 이날 6·25전쟁 참전용사 열 분을 경기장에 초청해 감사와 존경의 마음을 전하며, 경기 전 선수단 격려 및 시축 등을 통해 국가를 위해 헌신한 영웅들을 맞이할 예정이다.
아울러 지난 6월 6일 현충일에 열린 전북현대 N팀 홈경기 수익금 1,000만 원을 전북동부보훈지청에 전달하는 기부금 전달식도 진행된다.
