The Hyoja Life Culture Center is recruiting participants for a lifestyle theater program called 'Yeon·Nak·Cheo: A Time to Encounter the Joy of Theater for the First Time,' designed for citizens who are encountering acting for the first time.
'Yeon·Nak·Cheo' is part of the "2026 Cultural and Arts Education Practitioner Capacity Enhancement Project," sponsored by the Jeollabuk-do Special Self-Governing Province and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized by the Jeollabuk-do Cultural Tourism Foundation, and in cooperation with the Korea Arts and Culture Education Service.
'Yeon·Nak·Cheo' is not a class to learn acting or a program to select good actors. It is a citizen-participatory cultural arts education program where participants share their stories, empathize with others' stories, and create a play together. Anyone can participate regardless of acting experience, and at the end of the program, participants will showcase a play they created together on stage.
The program will run from August to November at the Hyoja Life Culture Center for a total of 14 sessions. Citizens aged 20 to 60 who are interested in theater and self-expression can participate for free, and applications can be made through the Hyoja Life Culture Center's website.
Hyoja Life Culture Center (Director Sun Hong-jin) stated, "The Hyoja Life Culture Center is a space where any citizen can enjoy cultural arts in their daily lives," and expressed hope that through this 'Yeon·Nak·Cheo' program, citizens will have a closer experience with cultural arts and continue with ongoing cultural activities in the region.
효자생활문화센터, 시민 참여형 연극 프로젝트‘연·樂·처’ 참여자 모집
효자생활문화센터가 연기를 처음 접하는 시민들을 위한 생활연극 프로그램 ‘연·樂·처:연극의 즐거움을 처음 만나는 시간’ 참여자를 모집한다.
‘연·樂·처’는 전북특별자치도와 문화체육관광부가 주최하고, 전북특별자치도문화관광재단이 주관하며, 한국문화예술교육진흥원의 협력으로 운영되는 「2026 문화예술교육사 현장역량강화사업」의 일환이다.
‘연樂처’는 연기를 배우는 수업, 연기를 잘하는 사람을 뽑는 프로그램이 아니다. 자신의 이야기를 나누고 다른 사람의 이야기에 공감하며 함께 하나의 연극을 만들어가는 시민 참여형 문화예술교육 프로그램이다. 연기 경험이 없어도 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 프로그램 마지막에는 참여자들이 함께 만든 낭독극을 무대에서 선보일 예정이다.
프로그램은 오는 8월부터 11월까지 효자생활문화센터에서 총 14차시로 진행되며, 20세부터 60세까지 연극과 자기표현에 관심 있는 시민이면 누구나 무료로 참여할 수 있으며, 참가 신청은 효자생활문화센터 홈페이지를 통해 가능하다.
효자생활문화센터(센터장 선홍진)는 "효자생활문화센터는 시민 누구나 일상에서 문화예술을 즐길 수 있는 공간"이라며, “이번 '연樂처'를 통해 시민들이 문화예술을 더욱 가깝게 경험하고, 지역 안에서 지속적인 생활문화 활동으로 이어지길 기대한다"고 말했다.
