North Jeolla Provincial Office of Education Conducts Regular Personnel Appointments for Local Government Officials in July... 358 People in Total

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced the regular personnel appointments for local public officials in July 2026 on the 6th.

The personnel appointments this time include promotions for 57 individuals, transfers for 300 individuals, and one individual being dispatched, totaling 358 people. Among the promotions, there are 22 individuals promoted to Grade 6, 24 to Grade 7, and 11 to Grade 8.

Key personnel changes include the appointment of Lee Hyun-kyu as the new Director of the Administrative Division, replacing Cho Cheol-ho who has been transferred to the Director of the Jeonju Student Education and Culture Office.

In key positions at the director level, Kim Jong-hyun has been appointed as the Budget Director, Jung Eun-i as the School Safety Director, Choi Hye-young as the Administrative Director, Hong Gong-suk as the Finance Director, Kim Jong-gi as the Labor Relations Director, Kim Young-joo as the Facilities Director, Choi Suk-mi as the Policy Performance Manager, Ahn Hong-il as the Gunsan Student Education and Culture Director, Choi Seon-ja as the Namwon Student Education and Culture Director, and Choi Won-chang as the Gimje Student Education and Culture Director.

Additionally, Jang Gyeong-dan has been appointed as the General Affairs Director of the Education Training Institute, Seo Yoo-kyung as the Administrative Training Director of the Education Training Institute, Kim Jung-joo as the General Affairs Director of the Future Education Research Institute, Lee Young-joo as the General Affairs Director of the Student Marine Training Institute, No Gyeong-suk as the Staff Training Institute Director, and Lee Sang-gon as the Administrative Support Division Director of the Jeonju Education Support Office.

Personnel appointments for Grade 6 and below local public officials were made based on factors such as the desire for a transfer in educational administration positions, grievance assessment results, work experience, rotational transfer principles, and place of residence.

Cheon Ho-seong, the Superintendent of Education, emphasized that this personnel appointment focused on securing personnel to respond to changes in demand on the ground and placing competent talents in appropriate positions to enhance organizational vitality. He stated, "We will continue to strengthen communication on the ground and create a stable educational environment through trustworthy personnel administration."

전북교육청은 2026년 7월 지방공무원 정기인사를 6일 발표했다.

이번 인사 규모는 승진 57명, 전보 300명, 파견 1명 등 총 358명이다. 승진자는 6급 22명, 7급 24명, 8급 11명이다.

주요 인사로는 이현규 전주학생교육문화관장이 신임 행정국장에 임명됐으며, 조철호 행정국장은 전주학생교육문화관장으로 전보 발령됐다.

서기관급 주요 보직에는 김종현 예산과장, 정은이 학교안전과장, 최혜영 행정과장, 홍공숙 재무과장, 김종기 노사협력과장, 김영주 시설과장, 최숙미 정책성과담당, 안홍일 군산학생교육문화관장, 최선자 남원학생교육문화관장, 최원창 김제학생교육문화관장 등이 배치됐다.

또 장경단 교육연수원 총무부장, 서유경 교육연수원 행정연수부장, 김정주 미래교육연구원 총무부장, 이영주 학생해양수련원 총무부장, 노경숙 교직원수련원장, 이상곤 전주교육지원청 행정지원국장도 각각 보직을 맡았다.

6급 이하 지방공무원 인사는 교육행정직 전보희망제, 고충 심사 결과, 근무 경력, 순환 전보 원칙, 생활근거지 등을 종합적으로 고려해 이뤄졌다.

천호성 교육감은 “이번 인사는 현장 수요 변화에 대응할 인력을 확보하고, 유능한 인재를 적재적소에 배치해 조직 활력을 높이는 데 중점을 뒀다”며 “앞으로도 현장 소통을 강화하고 신뢰받는 인사 행정을 통해 안정적인 교육 환경을 조성하겠다”고 말했다.
