Jeonju World Sound Festival (Chairman Choi Cheol, hereinafter referred to as the Sound Festival) and Baekje Arts University (President Park Gwi-jae, hereinafter referred to as Baekje Arts University) have joined hands to cultivate specialized talents in the field of cultural arts and promote the development of local cultural arts.
On the 8th, the Sound Festival and Baekje Arts University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the seminar room on the 1st floor of the International Conference Hall of the Korean Sound Culture Center, agreeing to cooperate in various fields such as cultural arts education, development of performance arts content, and festival operation.
This agreement was established to build a cooperative system for business collaboration to promote the development of cultural arts, cultivate specialized talents, and ensure the successful hosting of the Sound Festival based on the capabilities and networks of both organizations.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to continue their cooperation in various fields such as education and exchange for cultivating specialized talents in the cultural arts field, practical training, resource activities, and educational program operation related to the Sound Festival, development of performance arts content, operation of cultural arts events, promotion of both organizations, and activation of networks.
In particular, as a result of this agreement, the two organizations plan to create a foundation where aspiring artists can experience education and creative activities centered on practical experience, and will continuously pursue joint projects to promote the development of local cultural arts and activate the performance arts ecosystem.
Choi Cheol, Chairman of the Sound Festival, stated, "This agreement marks a significant starting point for local universities and festivals to grow together," adding, "We will continue to expand cooperation to allow young artists to gain diverse experiences and showcase their capabilities in festival settings."
President Park Gwi-jae of Baekje Arts University said, "Collaboration with the Jeonju World Sound Festival will provide students with invaluable opportunities for practical education," and expressed, "We will actively cooperate to cultivate specialized talents in cultural arts and contribute to the development of local cultural arts."
전주세계소리축제-백제예술대학교, 업무협력체계 구축
전주세계소리축제(조직위원장 최철, 이하 소리축제)와 백제예술대학교(총장 박귀재, 이하 백제예대)가 문화예술 분야 전문 인재 양성과 지역 문화예술 발전을 위해 손을 맞잡았다.
소리축제와 백제예대는 8일 한국소리문화의전당 국제회의장 1층 세미나실에서 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하고 문화예술교육과 공연예술 콘텐츠 개발, 축제 운영 등 다양한 분야에서 상호 협력하기로 했다.
이번 협약은 양 기관이 보유한 역량과 네트워크를 바탕으로 문화예술 분야의 발전과 전문 인재 양성, 소리축제의 성공적인 개최를 위해 업무협력체계를 구축하고자 마련됐다.
양 기관은 협약을 통해 ▲문화예술 분야 전문 인재 양성을 위한 교육 및 교류 ▲소리축제 관련 현장실습·자원활동 및 교육 프로그램 운영 ▲공연예술 콘텐츠 개발 및 문화예술 행사 운영 ▲양 기관의 홍보 및 네트워크 활성화 등 다양한 분야에서 협력을 이어갈 예정이다.
특히 이번 협약을 계기로 양 기관은 예비예술인들이 현장 중심의 교육과 창작 활동을 경험할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고, 지역 문화예술 발전과 공연예술 생태계 활성화를 위한 공동 사업을 지속적으로 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
최철 소리축제 조직위원장은 “이번 협약은 지역 대학과 축제가 함께 성장하는 의미 있는 출발점”이라며 “앞으로도 청년 예술인들이 축제 현장에서 다양한 경험을 쌓고 역량을 펼칠 수 있도록 협력을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
박귀재 백제예대 총장은 “전주세계소리축제와의 협력은 학생들에게 무엇과도 바꿀 수 없는 현장 교육의 기회가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 문화예술 전문 인재를 양성하고 지역 문화예술 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 적극 협력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
