Wanju Family Center to Operate Dual-Language Field Experience for Multicultural Families

The Wanju Family Center recently operated the '2026 Dual Language Field Experience Learning Program' at the Wanju Amazon Aqua Park for Vietnamese multicultural families.

This program was designed for parents and children to engage in water play and experiential activities together, allowing parents to naturally encounter and use their native language, Vietnamese.

Participating families engaged in activities such as naming water play items in Vietnamese, completing Vietnamese missions, and playing games where parents and children conversed in Vietnamese to solve problems.

This experience allowed children to apply the Vietnamese they learned in the classroom in real-life situations, increasing their familiarity and confidence in the language. Additionally, parents and children had time to strengthen communication and bond as a family while completing missions together.

One parent who participated in the program said, "It was great to be able to naturally converse while playing in the water and playing Vietnamese games with my child," adding, "I realized that I should converse more in Vietnamese at home from now on."

The center director stated, "Dual language is an important language that helps parents and children communicate more closely," and announced, "We will continue to operate experiential programs that allow multicultural families to naturally use their parents' native language in their daily lives."
