The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province National Gugak Center (hereinafter referred to as the 'Gugak Center') will present a participatory dance drama for young children titled "Shirreong Shirgeun, Ttukttak!" at the Gwon Sam Deuk Hall from the 23rd to the 24th. This performance is a trial operation prepared to enhance the completeness of the upcoming children's participatory dance drama program and to review the direction of its operation.
The work, which reinterprets the story of the "Grateful Magpie" from the traditional folktale "Heungbu and Nolbu" at the eye level of children, goes beyond simple viewing. It is an experiential dance drama where children aged 3 to 5 become the protagonists of the performance, directly participate, and create together.
This trial operation was prepared to examine the feasibility of applying on-site participatory dance content for young children and the suitability of the program. During the performance period, the reactions of the participants and the operation process will be observed and utilized as data for reviewing and considering program improvements and operational directions in the future.
This program, designed for young children who have relatively limited opportunities to enjoy cultural experiences in existing Gugak performances, is expected to create an environment where traditional arts can be naturally introduced from an early age and serve as an opportunity to expand the future audience base for Korean traditional music.
도립국악원, 영유아 참여형 무용극 시범운영
전북특별자치도립국악원(이하 '국악원')은 오는 23일부터 24일까지 권삼득홀에서 영유아를 위한 참여형 무용극「시르렁 실근, 뚝딱!」을 선보인다. 이번 공연은 향후 운영 예정인 어린이 참여형 무용극 프로그램의 완성도를 높이고 운영 방향을 점검하기 위해 마련한 시범운영이다.
전래동화 「흥부와 놀부」 속‘은혜 갚은 제비' 이야기를 아이들의 눈높이에 맞게 재구성한 작품으로 단순한 관람을 넘어 3~5세 영유아가 공연의 주인공이 되어 직접 참여하고 함께 만들어가는 체험형 무용극이다.
이번 시범운영은 영유아 참여형 무용 콘텐츠의 현장 적용 가능성과 프로그램의 적합성을 점검하기 위해 마련됐다. 공연 기간 동안 참여자들의 반응과 운영 과정 등을 살펴 향후 프로그램 보완과 운영 방향을 검토하는 자료로 활용할 계획이다.
기존 국악 공연에서 문화 향유 기회가 상대적으로 적었던 영유아를 위해 기획된 프로그램으로 어린 시기부터 전통예술을 자연스럽게 접할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고 미래 국악 관객층을 확대하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.
