This book guides on how to implement in the actual classroom the deep learning emphasized in the revised 2022 curriculum, student-participatory classes, student-tailored classes, and digital-based learning through specific examples. It particularly details how to practice the integration of curriculum, teaching, assessment, and record-keeping into a single flow using AI-based digital tools.
Bringing AI Tools into the Classroom
The book goes beyond merely introducing various AI Edutech tools like Padlet, NotebookLM, Gemini, Brisk Teaching, AI Classes, Genie Tutors, and Clip AI, incorporating them into the actual lesson design process.
It helps teachers more effectively understand students' learning processes by utilizing Padlet to quickly check students' thoughts at a glance, analyzing student activities through generative AI, or providing individual feedback. It also presents specific methods of utilizing AI for rubric-based assessment, growth-centered process evaluation, and individual student learning record management.
The authors emphasize throughout the book that more important than the digital tools themselves is the "good lesson design." They explain that AI is not a technology to replace teachers but an educational tool to help examine students' learning more meticulously.
Structured around Real Classroom Examples
The book consists of a total of six chapters.
From the basic usage of Padlet to introducing the latest features like Magic Padlet, Sandbox, AI voice functions, it includes examples of restructuring actual units in major subjects such as social studies, language arts, mathematics, and science into a digital format.
Using real unit examples like "Where We Live," "Creating a Livable Place," and "Expressing Vividly," it provides concrete guidance on seamlessly connecting the teaching-learning process from lesson preparation to student activities, assessment, and records.
In particular, it explains step-by-step how teachers can operate student-centered classes and process-centered evaluations in actual classrooms, increasing the practical utility for on-site teachers.

This book was co-written by current teachers.
The lead author, Teacher Park Ji-won, is a teacher at Gunsan Elementary School and is active in the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Education Office's Elementary Student Evaluation Support Team. Teachers Kim Sung-eun, Song Ga-eun, Lee Young-hwa, and Choi Woo-hyun also participated in the writing.
"A Book Where Lessons Come First Before Tools"

이 책은 2022 개정 교육과정이 강조하는 깊이 있는 학습, 학생 참여 수업, 학생 맞춤형 수업, 디지털 기반 학습을 실제 교실에서 어떻게 구현할 것인지 구체적인 사례를 통해 안내한다. 특히 교육과정·수업·평가·기록을 하나의 흐름으로 연결하는 이른바 '교·수·평·기 일체화'를 AI 기반 디지털 도구로 실천하는 방법을 상세히 소개한다.
AI 도구를 수업 속으로
책은 패들렛(Padlet), 노트북LM(NotebookLM), 제미나이(Gemini), 브리스크티칭, AI클래스, 지니아 튜터, 클리포 AI 등 다양한 AI 에듀테크를 단순한 기능 소개에 그치지 않고 실제 수업 설계 과정 속에 녹여냈다.
패들렛을 활용해 학생들의 생각을 한눈에 확인하고, 생성형 AI를 통해 학생 활동을 분석하거나 개별 피드백을 작성하는 등 교사가 학생들의 학습 과정을 보다 효과적으로 파악할 수 있도록 돕는다. 또한 루브릭 기반 평가와 성장 중심의 과정 평가, 학생별 학습 기록 관리까지 AI를 활용하는 구체적인 방법도 제시한다.
저자들은 디지털 도구 자체보다 중요한 것은 '좋은 수업 설계'라고 강조한다. AI는 교사를 대신하는 기술이 아니라 학생들의 배움을 더욱 세밀하게 살펴볼 수 있도록 돕는 교육 도구라는 점을 책 전반에 걸쳐 설명한다.

특히 학생 참여 중심 수업과 과정 중심 평가를 실제 교실에서 어떻게 운영할 수 있는지를 단계별로 설명해 현장 교사들의 활용도를 높였다.
현장 교사들이 함께 집필
이 책은 현직 교사들이 공동 집필했다.
대표 저자인 박지원 교사는 순창 구림초등학교 교사로 전북특별자치도교육청 초등학생평가지원단에서 활동하고 있으며, 김성은 군산초등학교 교사(2024 올해의 수업혁신 교사), 송가은 익산어양중학교 교사(교실혁명 선도교사), 이영화 광주서광초등학교 교사, 최우현 교사 등이 집필에 참여했다.
