Jeonbuk Hyundai has strengthened their side attack by acquiring Brazilian 1st division (Serie A) forward Italo de Vargas da Rosa (23 years old, FW, 181cm, 75kg).
By bringing in the fast and aggressive Italo, Jeonbuk Hyundai has enhanced the depth of their attacking line and established a more destructive side attack.
Italo, a young attacking talent who developed in the Brazilian football scene, is expected to shine as a new attacking option for Jeonbuk, leveraging his vigorous activity and individual breakthrough abilities.
Born in 2002, Italo is a right-footed side attacker with excellent physical attributes of 181cm and 75kg. While his main position is as a side attacker, he is considered a versatile player who can also play as a center forward and left winger, showcasing high tactical adaptability.
Italo joined the youth team of Brazil's Chapecoense in 2022, went on loan to clubs like Parana to gain practical experience, and returned to the first team in August 2024 to make a significant impact.
In the 2025 season, he played 49 games in the Brazilian Serie B, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists, making a leap as a key attacker for the team. In the 2026 season, he played 30 games in the Brazilian Serie A, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists, proving his competitiveness.
Given his consistent experience in Brazil's top league, expectations are high for Italo to quickly adapt and showcase his immediate impact in the K League.

전북현대가 브라질 1부리그(세리에 A) 출신 공격수 이탈로 바르가스(Italo de Vargas da Rosa/23세/FW/181cm/75kg)를 영입하며 측면 공격력 강화에 나섰다.
전북현대는 빠른 스피드와 저돌적인 돌파 능력을 갖춘 이탈로를 영입해 공격진의 뎁스를 보강하고 한층 더 파괴적인 측면 공격을 구축하게 됐다.
브라질 무대에서 성장한 젊은 공격 자원인 이탈로는 왕성한 활동량과 개인 돌파 능력을 앞세워 전북의 새로운 공격 옵션으로 활약할 전망이다.
2002년생인 이탈로는 181cm, 75kg의 우수한 신체 조건을 갖춘 오른발 잡이 측면 공격수다. 주 포지션은 측면 공격수지만 최전방 공격수와 왼쪽 윙어를 소화할 수 있는 멀티 자원으로 전술 활용도가 높다는 평가를 받고 있다.
2022년 브라질 샤페코엔시 유스팀에 입단한 이탈로는 파라나 등으로 임대 생활을 거치며 실전 경험을 쌓은 뒤, 2024년 8월 1군에 복귀해 본격적인 두각을 나타냈다.
2025시즌에는 브라질 세리에B에서 49경기에 출전해 5골 3도움을 기록하며 팀의 핵심 공격수로 도약했고, 2026시즌에는 브라질 세리에A 무대에서도 30경기에 출전해 1골 3도움을 기록하며 경쟁력을 입증했다.
특히 브라질 최상위 리그에서 꾸준히 출전 경험을 쌓은 선수인 만큼 K리그에서도 빠른 적응과 즉시 전력감으로 활약할 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
