The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced the test venues and important information for examinees for the 2nd Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Examination in 2026 on the website of the provincial education office on the 31st.
The upcoming Equivalency Examination will be held on August 11th, with a total of 1,160 applicants. The breakdown by level includes 954 high school graduates, 164 middle school graduates, and 42 elementary school graduates.
The test venues have been dispersed across 6 regions within the province for the convenience of examinees. The exams will be conducted at Jeonju Technical High School, Gunsan Middle School, Iksan Aeyang Middle School, Jeongeup Haksan Middle School, Namwon Haneul Middle School, and Jinan Girls' Middle School.
Online applicants can directly print their admission tickets through the NICE Equivalency Examination Service.
Examinees must enter the designated examination room between 7:30 AM and 8:40 AM on the day of the test. They should bring their identification card, admission ticket, and a ballpoint pen for computers. Elementary school graduates can prepare a black or blue pen.
The provincial education office has informed that the possession of any wireless communication devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth earphones, or smart glasses within the examination room will be considered as misconduct.
The passing criteria is an average score of 60 or above in all subjects, and the list of successful candidates will be announced on August 28th at 10 AM on the website of the provincial education office.
Kim Hang-yoon, the head of the Teacher Personnel Department, emphasized that "applicants should check their designated test venue and admission ticket in advance through the announcement" and urged them to "thoroughly prepare for the test day instructions and required items."

전북교육청은 2026년도 제2회 초졸·중졸·고졸 검정고시 시험 장소와 응시자 유의사항을 31일 도교육청 누리집에 공고했다.
이번 검정고시는 오는 8월 11일 치러지며, 전체 지원자는 1,160명이다. 과정별로는 고졸 954명, 중졸 164명, 초졸 42명이다.
시험장은 응시자 편의를 고려해 도내 6개 권역에 분산 배치됐다. 전주공업고등학교, 군산중학교, 익산어양중학교, 정읍학산중학교, 남원하늘중학교, 진안여자중학교에서 각각 운영된다.
온라인 접수자는 나이스 검정고시 서비스를 통해 수험표를 직접 출력할 수 있다.
응시자는 시험 당일 오전 7시 30분부터 8시 40분까지 지정된 시험실에 입실해야 한다. 신분증, 수험표, 컴퓨터용 사인펜을 지참해야 하며, 초졸 응시자는 검은색 또는 파란색 볼펜을 준비하면 된다.
도교육청은 부정행위 예방을 위해 휴대전화, 스마트워치, 블루투스 이어폰, 스마트 안경 등 모든 무선통신기기는 시험실 내 소지만으로도 부정행위로 간주된다고 안내했다.
합격 기준은 전 과목 평균 60점 이상이며, 합격자는 8월 28일 오전 10시 도교육청 누리집을 통해 발표된다.
김항윤 교원인사과장은 “수험생들은 공고문을 통해 본인의 지정 시험장과 수험표를 미리 확인해야 한다”며 “시험 당일 유의사항과 준비물을 철저히 챙겨달라”고 당부했다.
