The Korean dance performance 'RETURN-[Jeonju-Mu-Gyeong]' by 'Park Hyun-hee Movement', selected as part of the Jeonju Cultural Foundation's '2026 Performing Arts Support' project, will be held at Jeonju Hanbyeok Cultural Center on the 8th at 5 p.m.
'RETURN-[Jeonju-Mu-Gyeong]' focuses on four of the eight scenic spots of Jeonju described in the anthology of the late Joseon poet Cho Susam (1762~1849). This creative dance performance deeply reinterprets the [Jeonju-Mu-Gyeong] that 'Park Hyun-hee Movement' first introduced in 2023.
Visualizing the sentiment and lyricism embedded in Jeonju's outstanding landscapes through 'dance', this performance is divided into four parts: ▲ 'Wolhwa-Mu-Gyeong', expressing the night of Girinbong through the dancer's movements ▲ 'Hanbyeok-Mu-Gyeong', depicting the clear and refreshing ambiance of Hanbyeokdang ▲ 'Wi-Bong-Simsang', likening the virtue of a sage to a waterfall ▲ 'Deokjin-Mu-Gyeong', capturing the vitality of the Danwojeol covered with lotus flowers. It aims to convey the charm of the new 'Mu-Gyeong', which reinterprets the lives of our ancestors and the landscapes of Jeonju.
전주문화재단 ’공연예술지원’ 한국무용 공연 ‘RETURN-전주-舞景(무경)’
전주문화재단 ‘2026 공연예술지원’ 사업의 선정작인 ‘박현희 무브먼트’의 한국무용 공연 ‘RETURN-[전주-舞景(무경)]’이 오는 8일 오후 5시, 전주한벽문화관에서 열린다.
‘RETURN-[전주-舞景(무경)]’은 조선 후기 시인 조수삼(1762~1849)의 문집에 표현된 전주 8경 가운데 4경을 톺아 집중 조명한다. ‘박현희 무브먼트’가 지난 2023년 첫선을 보인 [전주-舞景]을 심층적으로 재해석한 창작 무용 공연이다.
전주의 빼어난 풍광에 담긴 정취와 서정을 ‘춤’으로 시각화한 이번 공연은 총 4부로 구성된다. ▲기린봉의 밤을 무용수의 몸짓으로 표현하는 ‘월화무경’ ▲맑고 시원한 한벽당의 흥취를 그려낸‘한벽무경’ ▲예인의 인고를 폭포에 비유한 ‘위봉심상’ ▲연꽃 흐드러진 단오절의 신명을 담아낸 ‘덕진무경’으로 재편하여 우리 선조들의 삶과 전주의 풍경을 엮어낸 새로운 ‘무경’의 매력을 전할 예정이다.
