On the 22nd, at 2 p.m., the National Gugak Center will present a full performance of the song "Gangsanje Simcheongga" by singer Lim Seo-yeon at the Yeumheon Hall.
Lim Seo-yeon has learned from masters such as Park Chun-maeng, Jeon In-sam, and Choi Ran-su. She won the Grand Prize (Presidential Award) at the 25th National Pansori and Gosu Singing Competition of the Seopyeonje Boseong Voice Festival and is currently an active member of the Changakbu of the Jeollanam-do Provincial Gugak Orchestra.
"Gangsanje Simcheongga" is a transmitted sound following the lineage of the renowned singer Park Yu-jeon, known as the founder of Seopyeonje. It is characterized by elegant yet poignant singing techniques. Evaluated as the most elegant and dignified sound among the transmitted Pansori, it combines the sorrowful emotions of the Gemyeonjo and intricate rhythmic patterns.
The performance will be divided into two parts, totaling about 4 hours and 30 minutes. In the first part, Kim Tae-young, the winner of the Grand Prize (Presidential Award) at the 37th National Gosu Competition, will perform, while in the second part, Jo Yong-an, the holder of the Pansori Jangdan in Jeollabuk-do Intangible Cultural Heritage, will take the stage.

국립민속국악원 ‘소리 판’ 완창무대, 임서연 강산제 심청가 선보여
국립민속국악원은 오는 22일 오후 2시 예음헌에서 소리꾼 임서연의 ‘강산제 심청가’ 완창무대를 선보인다.
임서연은 박춘맹·전인삼·최란수에게 사사했으며, 제25회 서편제보성소리축제 전국 판소리·고수경연대회 명창부 대상(대통령상)을 수상했으며, 현재 전라남도립국악단 창악부 상임단원으로 활동하고 있다.
강산제 심청가는 서편제의 창시자로 알려진 박유전 명창의 계보를 따라 전승된 소리로, 우아하면서도 애절한 창법이 특징이다. 계면조의 슬픈 감정과 정교한 시김새가 어우러져 전승되는 판소리 가운데 가장 우아하고 기품 있는 소리로 평가받는다.
공연은 1부와 2부로 나누어 총 4시간 30여 분 동안 진행된다. 1부에서는 제37회 전국고수대회 대명고수부 대상(대통령상) 수상자인 김태영 고수가, 2부에서는 전북특별자치도 무형유산 판소리 장단 보유자인 조용안 고수가 장단을 맡는다.
