On the 9th, the Jeonju Cultural Foundation held a joint dance class for the 2026 Dream Dance Troupe in Jeonju's cultural space, 'Cultural Gongpanjang Jakdang.'
Participants from four regions in Jeollabuk-do, including Jeonju, Buan, Wanju, and Gunsan, joined the program, which consisted of four sessions.
The class was conducted with each region leading its own program in the order of Wanju, Buan, Jeonju, and Gunsan. Participants engaged in playful activities, physical expression programs, and had time to experience and naturally bond with each other's activities.
Especially in the final segment, they learned movements to BTS's 'Arirang' and concluded the joint class by dancing together in harmony.
This joint class provided an opportunity for dream dance members from different regions to share activities and cultures, establishing a network base for continuous exchange and cooperation among dream dance troupes in Jeollabuk-do.
A foundation official stated, "It was a meaningful event where members could naturally build camaraderie by sharing programs prepared by each region," adding, "We will continue to make various efforts for ongoing exchange and joint program operations among dream dance troupes in Jeollabuk-do."
Meanwhile, 'Dream Dance Troupe' is a representative cultural arts education project led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts and Culture Education Service, supporting creative physical expression and art education activities for children and youth through dance.
전주문화재단, 전북권 ‘2026 꿈의 무용단’ 한자리에
전주문화재단이 지난 9일 전주 소재 복합문화공간 ‘문화공판장 작당’에서 2026 꿈의 무용단 전북권 합동수업을 개최했다.
이번 합동수업에는 전주·부안·완주·군산 등 전북권 4개 지역의 꿈의 무용단원들이 참여해 4개 교시로 구성된 프로그램을 함께했다.
수업은 완주·부안·전주·군산 순으로 지역별 프로그램을 직접 이끄는 방식으로 진행됐다. 각 지역 단원들이 놀이형 활동과 신체 표현 프로그램 등을 함께하며 서로의 활동을 경혐하고 자연스럽게 어울리는 시간을 가졌다.
특히 마지막 순서에서는 방탄소년단의 ‘아리랑’에 맞춰 동작을 함께 배운 뒤, 전체 단원이 강강술래를 하며 하나로 어우러지는 시간으로 합동수업을 마무리했다.
이번 합동수업은 지역별 꿈의 무용단원들이 서로 다른 활동과 문화를 공유하며 교류할 수 있는 기회가 됐으며, 전북권 꿈의 무용단 간 지속적인 교류와 협력을 위한 네트워크 기반을 마련했다는 점에서 의미를 더했다.
재단 관계자는 “지역별로 준비한 프로그램을 함께 나누며 단원들이 자연스럽게 친밀감을 쌓을 수 있었던 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 전북권 꿈의 무용단 간 지속적인 교류와 공동 프로그램 운영을 위한 다양한 시도를 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
한편, ‘꿈의 무용단’은 문화체육관광부와 한국문화예술교육진흥원이 추진하는 대표적인 문화예술교육 사업으로, 아동·청소년을 대상으로 무용을 매개로 한 창의적인 신체표현과 예술교육 활동을 지원하고 있다.
