The Wanju County Education Integrated Support Center (Director Lim Sung-hee) held a graduation ceremony for the '2026 Education Development Special Zone Life Sports (Badminton·Futsal) Training Program' on the 23rd, congratulating the graduation of 10 village instructors within Wanju County.
The program, which ran from July to August for a total of 8 sessions and 30 hours, was designed to enhance the professionalism and coaching abilities of village instructors, as well as strengthen their educational capabilities that can be utilized in schools and communities.
The education focused on roles and ethics of coaches, sports safety management, specific coaching techniques for badminton and futsal, methods of teaching classes aligned with school curriculums, and practical demonstrations, all conducted in a field-oriented manner. Particularly, participants were able to plan and demonstrate programs tailored to students' developmental stages, boosting their coaching skills and confidence as instructors for actual classes.
Graduate Mr. A expressed, "It was very beneficial to systematically learn teaching methods that can be immediately applied in school settings alongside practical training. I gained confidence as a coach through the demonstrations."
An official from the Wanju County Education Integrated Support Center stated, "This graduation holds significance in that village instructors have acquired the capacity to directly practice what they have learned in school settings," adding, "We will continue to provide ongoing support for graduates to utilize their expertise to offer enjoyable and safe sports experiences to students and actively participate in local educational activities."
완주군교육통합지원센터, 마을강사 10명 생활체육 양성과정 수료
완주군교육통합지원센터(센터장 임성희)는 23일 완주군 관내에서 ‘2026년 교육발전특구 생활체육(배드민턴·풋살) 양성과정’ 수료식을 갖고 마을강사 10명의 수료를 축하했다.
이번 과정은 7월부터 8월까지 총 8회, 30시간 동안 운영됐으며, 마을강사의 전문성과 지도역량을 높이고 학교와 지역에서 활용할 수 있는 교육 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육은 지도자의 역할과 윤리, 스포츠 안전관리, 배드민턴·풋살 종목별 지도기술, 학교 교육과정과 연계한 수업 운영 방법 및 수업 시연 등 현장 중심으로 진행됐다. 특히 참여자들이 학생들의 발달단계에 맞는 프로그램을 직접 기획하고 시연하면서 실제 수업에 적용할 수 있는 지도역량과 강사로서의 자신감을 높였다.
수료생 A씨는 “실기교육과 함께 학교 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 수업 운영 방법을 체계적으로 익힐 수 있어 매우 유익했다”며 시연하면서 지도자로서 자신감도 얻을 수 있었다”고 소감을 말했다.
완주군교육통합지원센터 관계자는 “이번 수료는 마을강사들이 그동안 배우고 익힌 내용을 바탕으로 학교 현장에서 직접 실천할 수 있는 역량을 갖추었다는 점에서 의미가 있다”며 “수료생들이 각자의 전문성을 살려 학생들에게 즐겁고 안전한 스포츠 경험을 제공하고, 지역의 교육활동에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 지속적인 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
