The Okcheon Injaesuk Parents' Association in Sunchang County (Chairman Choi Yong-seok) donated commercial refrigerators and freezers worth 5 million won to improve the meal environment for students.
The donation ceremony took place on the 19th at the Sunchang County Office, with a total of seven participants including three county officials and four members of the parents' association coming together to share the spirit of sharing.
The donated items included a 6-compartment commercial refrigerator and a 2-compartment preservation freezer, which the parents voluntarily collected to ensure their children's safe dietary habits.
Chairman Choi Yong-seok stated, "The hearts of parents who want to create a better environment for the spaces where children live are reflected in this donation." Sunchang County Mayor Choi Young-il expressed gratitude, saying, "Small gestures like this lay the foundation for changing the future of children."
순창군 옥천인재숙 학부모회, 급식환경 개선 위해 냉장·냉동고 기증
순창군 옥천인재숙 학부모회(회장 최용석)가 학생들의 급식환경 개선을 위해 500만 원 상당의 업소용 냉장고와 냉동고를 기증했다.
기탁식은 19일 순창군청 군수실에서 열렸으며, 군 관계자 3명과 학부모회 4명 등 총 7명이 참석해 나눔의 뜻을 함께했다.
기증 물품은 6칸 업소용 냉장고 1대와 2칸 보존형 냉동고 1대로, 학부모들이 자녀들의 안전한 식생활을 위해 자발적으로 뜻을 모아 마련했다.
최용석 학부모회장은 “아이들이 생활하는 공간을 더 좋은 환경으로 만들고자 하는 부모들의 마음이 담겼다”고 밝혔으며, 최영일 순창군수는 “작은 정성이 아이들의 미래를 바꾸는 밑거름이 된다”며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
