The final episode of Season 3 of EBS1's "Wake Up the Classroom with Class Up! Career Class Designing Life" will be broadcast on February 16th (Monday) at 6:30 p.m. This episode captures the classroom of Moon Mikyung, a career teacher at Jang-an High School in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
Teacher Moon goes beyond the typical career classes centered around aptitude tests and career recommendations, operating a project-based class that helps students explore their career paths and design their lives. The flagship program is the "Future Design Startup" project, where students create virtual startups based on ideas to solve everyday inconveniences, taking on roles to analyze problems, come up with solutions, and create app prototypes. The class also includes elements to increase participation, such as utilizing AI tools, timers, and coin rewards.
Having worked as a biology teacher, Moon transitioned to a career teacher in 2011 and has since built expertise in teaching through graduate school education and research via teacher networks. The broadcast will feature scenes from a mock class conducted at a national teacher training site, as well as the final project class held at the culmination of Moon's 37-year teaching career, along with farewells from the students.

EBS ‘클래스 업!’ 교실을 깨워라, 장안고 문미경 교사의 ‘삶을 설계하는 진로 수업’
EBS1 <클래스 업! 교실을 깨워라> 시즌 3 마지막 회 ‘삶을 설계하는 진로 수업’이 2월 16일(월) 오후 6시 30분 방송된다. 이번 편은 경기도 수원 장안고등학교 문미경 진로교사의 수업 현장을 담는다.
문 교사는 적성검사·진로추천 중심의 일반적인 진로 수업을 넘어, 학생들이 스스로 진로를 탐색하고 삶을 설계할 힘을 기르도록 직접 개발한 프로젝트형 수업을 운영한다. 대표 프로그램은 ‘미래 디자인 Startup’ 프로젝트로, 학생들이 일상 속 불편을 해결할 아이디어를 바탕으로 가상의 스타트업을 만들고 직책을 맡아 문제 분석, 개선안 도출, 앱 프로토타입 제작 등을 수행한다. 수업에는 AI 도구 활용과 타이머·코인 보상 등 참여를 높이는 요소도 포함된다.
문 교사는 생물 교사로 근무하다 2011년 진로교사 1기로 전환했으며, 이후 대학원 진학과 교사 네트워크를 통한 연구로 수업 전문성을 쌓아 왔다. 방송에서는 전국 교사 연수 현장에서 진행한 모의수업 모습과, 37년 교직 생활을 마무리하는 시점에 진행된 프로젝트 마지막 수업·학생들의 인사도 함께 소개된다.
