Sunchang Cultural Center and Damyang Cultural Center have signed a memorandum of understanding for regional cultural development and cooperative partnership.
The two institutions held a signing ceremony at Damyang Cultural Center on the 12th to confirm their joint commitment to activating cultural exchanges between regions and strengthening cooperation. A total of 12 people, including officials from both cultural centers, attended the event.
This agreement aims to establish a foundation for mutual development through expanding cultural and artistic exchanges and linking regional cultural resources, as well as to build a sustainable cooperative system.
According to the agreement, the two cultural centers plan to collaborate in various fields such as expanding regional cultural and artistic exchanges, cooperating on regional studies, mutual visits and exchanges during major festivals, jointly attracting cultural projects, and cooperating on promotion and marketing, as well as sharing information and advice for activating local culture. In particular, they have decided to focus on discovering practical cooperative projects that residents can experience by linking each region's unique cultural resources.
Jeon In-baek, the director of Sunchang Cultural Center, stated, "This will be an opportunity to further solidify the cultural network between regions," and added, "We will actively cooperate to expand opportunities for residents to enjoy culture."
The two cultural centers plan to expand their cultural cooperation network through regular exchanges and joint projects in the future.
순창문화원·담양문화원, 지역문화 상생협력 업무협약
순창문화원과 담양문화원이 지역문화 발전과 상생 협력을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
양 기관은 지난 12일 담양문화원에서 협약식을 열고 지역 간 문화교류 활성화와 협력 강화를 위한 공동 의지를 확인했다. 행사에는 양 문화원 관계자 등 12명이 참석했다.
이번 협약은 문화예술 교류 확대와 지역 문화자원 연계를 통해 상호 발전 기반을 마련하고, 지속 가능한 협력 체계를 구축하기 위해 추진됐다.
협약에 따라 양 문화원은 △지역 문화예술 교류 확대 △지역학 연구 협력 △주요 축제 상호 방문 및 교류 △문화사업 공동 유치 및 홍보·마케팅 협력 △지역문화 활성화를 위한 정보 공유·자문 등 다양한 분야에서 협력을 이어갈 계획이다. 특히 각 지역의 고유 문화자원을 연계해 주민들이 체감할 수 있는 실질적 협력 사업 발굴에 힘을 모으기로 했다.
전인백 순창문화원장은 “지역 간 문화 네트워크를 더욱 공고히 하는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “주민 문화향유 기회 확대를 위해 적극 협력하겠다”고 말했다.
양 문화원은 앞으로 정기 교류와 공동사업 추진을 통해 문화협력 네트워크를 확대해 나갈 방침이다.
